The Turkmen State Circus, located in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, is the main arena circus in the city, boasting a seating capacity of 1,700 seats. It is administered by the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting of Turkmenistan.
The development of national circus art in independent and neutral Turkmenistan, alongside the organization of shows featuring Akhal-Teke horses and Turkmen jigits, renowned worldwide, promises to elevate the cultural landscape of our national circus and enhance cultural recreation opportunities for the population in the future.
Situated in the heart of our capital, the luxurious circus building meets world standards, featuring a circular arena with a diameter of 13 meters for showcasing circus performances. The circus reaches a height of 18 meters, and outside the stadium, 1,500 seats await spectators.
Turkmen Akhal-Teke horses, along with domestic dogs and other animals, play essential roles in circus performances. Each show highlights the incredible talents of the world-famous Akhal-Teke horses, following a special program.
